Author Topic: Septic Tank  (Read 1185 times)

Yesterday before swim team at school, I had to get dressed. When I walked into the locker room, it smelled, to put it bluntly, like stuff. I wondered why, and then I noticed the puddles of murky water on the floor. Now, at this point, I was rapidly becoming aware that something was terribly wrong. Well, I was right.

I walked out to complain about it to my coach, and I discovered that-yep, you guessed it-the septic tank had ruptured during the varsity practice. Now, I still had to retrieve my stuff from inside the locker room, and I had to leap across a puddle of stuff to even reach my locker.

Once I reached my locker, there was a huge puddle of water surrounding the whole area where my locker was. Thankfully, the lockers are on a raised platform, and there are benches in front of the lockers. I unlocked the combo lock, reached in, grabbed my stuff, and left.

Little did I realize, I had left my reading glasses and necklace inside my locker, as is my habit to do. After practice, I had to redo the entire chain of actions, and while I was wet and without shoes. Oh, did I forget to mention it smelled like stuff? And wearing nothing but a speedo?

At any rate, it was cleaned up today, though I was still a bit wary of the puddles of water left normally by swim team members. It still smelled like stuff, though.

How many times did you say stuff?

stuff. stuff stuff? stuff

Lol, repetitive humor gets old fast.

How many times did you say stuff?
Count 'em, four. I bolded and italicized them for a reason.

Should I unbold/italicize them?

Nah, just you said stuff a lot.

Nah, just you said stuff a lot.
Of course, but... honestly, it was needed.

Have fun with Hepatitis A, but maybe you can sue.

Mommy dropped you off again?

Wat. I thought you were older than that!
Apparently not.

Mommy dropped you off again?
Dad does. I can't walk to school or anything, and there's no bus going from my house to my school in time before the bell.
Wat. I thought you were older than that!
My middle school has recess. Very rarely though, because no teacher really feels like it.
