Hi,

I've read and understand the minimum requirements for using Blockland as a player. To configure my system as a Blockland server, do the same minimum requirements apply? If not, what are the suggested configuration requirements? Note: I did search the forums for "hosting requirements" and "server requirements" but didn't find anything.

anyway, to host, you need to forward your ports if you have a router. but nothing else really applies i think

I'm fully aware of the port forwarding. I'm asking about the minimum set of hardware & software requirements, not network requirements. Are they the same as playing the game?

Minimum:
1. 800mhz cpu
2. 512mb ram
3. 32mb openGL compatible video card

but really, i wouldn't even attempt playing without a 128m or better video card
and hosting a server, you should prob have broadband of course

My downlink is 9,256 Kb/s which is terrific for gameplay. My uplink is 235 Kb/s which, I'm guessing, will be horrible for hosting. Thoughts?

Uh, if anything that'd be more than enough for hosting. I upload at 40-80 kb/s, yet I can have 16 players connect to my server and not get a ping higher than 200. So you should be fine.
