The thing about using "bad" as artistic can only be used if you can do it right. Either that or you're really funny so the bad is either part of the joke, or ignored because it makes you laugh. This didn't make me laugh. The ORLY joke didn't even make sense, Bruce Willis didn't say that, wouldn't have said that, and in no way did it seem like he could have said that. It was a poorly constructed joke with an attempt at "bad-art".

i.e.

Here we have a man with a potato. Not very funny. It's drawn badly and doesn't express any kind of art. The bland word potato even adds to the boredom.

Now, here is a guy with a potato in his eye. We don't know how or why he managed to get said potato in his eye, and the word potato at the top just adds to the "what just happened?".

Now, this in itself isn't all that funny, really, but it had a sort of edge and shock value to it. I don't know why, but I've been seeing more and more comics being made like this. Surreal humor with one panel bad drawings and a little caption.

What comes to mind is Natalie Dee:

For some reason this type of humor is in. Maybe try something like this if you're bad at drawing. But please, try to be funny.

Good advice. Main Tip: Me trying to be funny = FAIL

It mostly happens accidentally.

Ya, Really.
