Author Topic: Annoying little Zune Software issue.  (Read 1492 times)

I'm trying to buy an episode of Superjail, (Yes, buy; because I like to legally own my things, and Superjail; because it's incredibly random IMO and that's the kind of shows I like to watch) but I get stopped at the third episode. It downloaded 1, 2, and 4 fine, but it won't do 3. It comes back with "You've exhausted the number of times you can restore this item". What. I'm trying to buy it. Not...restore it. The Zune website has nothing to contribute, ("Unfortunately, there is no specific Web Help message for this error yet.") and I was hoping someone here knows what to do. If not, I'll turn to person-to-person Zune support.

DRM Protection rapes again.

No idea what that is. Sounds bad and like something I don't want.

Digital Rights Management. By the sound of the error, it sounds like it's kicking your ass.

Sounds like you already own it.

I'd try contacting them.

So basically it's just deciding that I can't have that particular episode?

I think I bought it too, I might just do that. I clicked "Buy" on the first 4 episodes, and I thought it just missed the third one, but now I'm not so sure.

I believe it's time to illegally download something you already bought. :o

The funny thing is, I bought Ratatouille because I liked it. I reformatted my hard drive, and I install iTunes. I scope around iTunes to see if I can redownload it a few months later, and turns out I can't.

I just wasted $10 >:(
