I saw some epic stuff on YouTube of this place. I am seriously considering getting it and leaving Roblox for good.

1) Is there any slowness, like lag or pauses? Server crashes?

2) Are the effects optional? Can you customize how good everything shows up? I run a Windows 98 and it has the worst graphics and graphics card ever.

3) Is it awesome? Is it worth it? I need feedback.

Yes to all, thankfully and partially sadly.
You only get lag if the host is having a high ping, servers can crash but only if the owner closes it, or if it closes on the owner. You can of course just join dedicated servers.

A server is only laggy with ALOT of bricks or massive amounts of bad addons turned on.

Actually, I don't understand anything about the game so I doubt that will happen. I was going to ask on the forums until I got banned from them.
