Would anyone care giving me a link or telling some rules of filling out a Lawsuit on an idividual, a company, or a small group of people?

Well... Think about it, the lawsuits results would be bad for the kid.
He's a kid.
He sues Badspot.
Badspot is in command of an entire company, this company makes money.
Result of Lawsuit?
Badspot wins, losses no money as a result of the lawsuit, and therefore, dax has just made a bigger fool of himself than he already is.
One child vs. a whole company = Company wins
BUT it all depends of the offense! Say, a CEO of some big Corporation, murders some 10 year old's brother, he has the right to fill out a lawsuit against the company, the child wins, and the murderer goes to jail on an offense of maybe... 3rd degree murder?
Ok, I'm done, but seriously, could someone list some rule in the Juditial System on filling out Lawsuits?
EDIT
Um, forgot to mention, but the company also goes crashing down as a result of the CEO getting sent to jail on a life sentance.
