The Man from Earth scored an 8.1 (anything over 7 is good to watch, anything over 8 you need to see) on imdb.
The Man from Earth is science fiction.
I've showed it to my whole family and everyone loved it. My brother showed it to a couple of his friends and they loved it. One of those friends showed it to his family and they all loved it too.

V for Vendetta scored 8.2 and is rank 175 out of over 57 million movies.
Why don't you want to see it?

1. I might see it. Until then, my opinion stands.

Unless it has fancy flashing lights, explosions, fake science bullcrap, and a person who dies from not looking behind him, it is not true science fiction as far as movies go.

I thought it was a decent movie all in all. However the addition of two jar jar binks like characters was only a reminder that that's exactly how most kids act these days and I facepalmed right there in that theater and I facepalmed hard. I still have a headache. RC was cool up until he became a robotic version of Sam's chihuahua, Mojo.

Otherwise, the effects were awesome, the story held somewhat close to how I remember the series was as a kid, and I'd buy it on DVD just to see Devastator combine again. But we have youtube for that, don't we? :D
