Author Topic: Social experiment time.  (Read 1291 times)

I get bored. All the time, in fact one of the reasons I like the Blockland forums so much is that posts here are often so hackneyed or crazy that the normally predictability I find other places does not apply (I mean hackneyed in the sense that some things are said so much here you being to think it cannot possibly be said again so when it is, it's genuinely a surprise).

That aside, sometimes because of my boredom of having seen the same things over and over again leads me to do things for my own amusement just to mess with what I already know.

You: Wait, what? Me: Forget it, doesn't matter.

Real females do not feel the need to remind you of their gender unprovoked in conversation.

This is a note to all you stupid skirt chasing 12 year old boys reading this thread

First of all: funny, I lol'd. Second: not always true but still funny.

Anyway, new avatar.

My user name, being ambiguous as it is lends itself well to what ever avatar representation I want. This is good because I want to find out if people think I am a female just because my avatar is (this does no include all the people that already know). Does a changed avatar change my title for those that just met me from "starfish" to "bitch"?

Another question: Do the people that do know me know me only as Half-life avatar guy and who the forget is is zz_tophat?

It's funny that when I was searching for a suitable avatar, all the females I found generally made me want to puke when I thought of them representing me. Frankly I hand no idea I was that loveist. So I asked my buddy Seth what female would best represent me and without pause he said: "the major from ghost in the shell", this troubling answer leaves me with more questions, like: did he think of that before I asked? Do I act like a female cyborg? and: why was my best friend thinking of me as a hot female cyborg?

And how many loving licks does it take to get to the god damn tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?

tl;dr Motoko's a hot ass bitch who happens to be a cyborg.

in the shows, didn't the crew have a discussion about what her real gender could have originally been, and why she picked female?

still applies so much

I saw your avatar and immediately thought, "The pixel Half-life avatar guy got a new avatar". Of course, with this thread, your experiment might not go as planned.

Meh, this is a long term plan, the way I figure it this thread will be at least three pages gone before someone new comes along and decides to assign me a gender.

When I first registered I though Who_Da? was a girl.
Boy was I wrong.

When I went by my old tag Armitage, people would always assume I was a girl because of the anime Armitage III. So I had to add a definitive after to assure people I was in fact male, so it became Armitageman. Of course, here, I'm your friendly rughugger, until I decide to switch back to Armitageman since I use it for all my other applications.

Maybe people with think I'mma girl because I have Iku Smirk for an avatar...
...
Hah. Fat chance.

-snip-
I've always thought of you as a generally nice guy, who's very mature and I have no problem with you whatsoever.

And I've always thought of you as a man capable of moving faster than a speeding bullet and being able to leap tall buildings in the single bound.

...you are superman, right?
