Author Topic: Making custom bricks  (Read 647 times)

I want to make new bricks, not props, custom bricks that you can build on top of, i have a few questions. Do the bricks need a collision mesh around them, are there joints you need to put on them in order to be able to build on top of them, if so what do you name them.

You need a collision mesh, if they're going to be like round bricks, yes. But joints/mountPoints? No.

what should the meshes LOD number be?

not props
What you're talking is the equivalent of prop bricks.

oh I'm thinking of stuff like the grill brick or the triangular plate used in lego

For bricks, all you need to do is edit a BLB file. For bricks that have a model, like a grill plate, I have no clue. It is much harder I do believe.
