Author Topic: How do I change the terrain of other maps?  (Read 1883 times)

I was trying to make a terrain map out of Slate_Feilds and the little terrain editor brush wouldn't show up, do I have to dump the textures in for my brush to recognize it? If so how do I do that? If not what do I do?

I can edit the maps that Blockland came with, but not maps I have downloaded.

Slate maps don't have terrain. It's a giant invisible interior. Slate_Feilds just has water that's textured like grass under it.

And the terrain painter doesn't work.

So how do I go about getting a flat terrain map? :c

Terrain generator, set everything to 0, that makes a map the same level as slate, but is terrain.

Oh what map would be best to start a map, or can I somehow start a blank nothingness map?

Use Bedroom, box select everything, hit delete, I dunno if it will take spawn too, but be careful.

No. Use slopes. Bedroom does not support water so I've heard. Slopes is much more safe.

Oh yeah, forgot about that, well, if you're making a map real scale, do bedroom for the grass, if it doesn't have water.
