Sonicfan's Travel Centre

lol, this is my first post to the Blockland forum.

I got done my first full build earlier today - it's the average truck stop-like gas station. The Sonicfan Travel Centre.

It has all the bells and whistles of any modern gas station, complete with a restaurant too.

Here's some pictures.

After running for hours through the fields, you see a red building in the distance.

An aerial view of the travel centre. The roof is crudely built, I'm probably going to work on it someday.

The sign. The prices for gas here are far beyond reality.

The parking spaces are nearly perfect, they can hold pretty much any vehicle. Of course, the tank might have a little trouble.

The lights at the pumps are very bright, so you can't miss this at night. Also, the pumps make little beepy sounds when you activate them. :P

May not look like it at first, but the pumps are big enough to fit a vehicle. Of course, two vehicles sitting next to each other or behind each other and still fueling up is not a possibility.

Tell me what you think, feel free to rate. I know I probably could've done a lot better on it, but I'm not that good of a builder. After all, I just bought Blockland yesterday XD
I'll post a save if the demand is high enough.

you should add more color to this build. the red walls,sign and gas pumps should all be dif colors. store should look like a real on at least, pumps could have grey, sign could be a multi colors overall. like have a main theme color, like gas stations do. i know this is a travel centre but still had some diffrent colors

Yeah, I thought it needed more colour too (in fact, I worked on it for a few hours and a 1/3 of my vision was red for a few minutes after getting off of the computer because it was extremely bright). I had intentions of making the sign blue and red, but that was dropped because I thought it looked pretty good.

I tried to make the mini-mart look good, but I'm not really good at making stores out of bricks. :/

Thanks for the suggestions, though. I'll definitely consider some of them next time I start working on this.
