Sonicfan International Airport

My first second major build, and the most gigantic build I have made in the week I've owned Blockland. I took some of my knowledge of aviation to create a fully functional airport.

It took me about 13 hours to finish. I was up all night from 1 to 7 working on this, and I've been working on this since I woke up 6 hours ago.

This airport includes...
- The ticket counter
- 3 baggage carousels
- Security checkpoint
- Two concourses
- 8 gates, half with jetways
- Departure lounges
- Correctly numbered and headed runways, unlike every other airport shown in this gallery
- More

It was built on the Slate map, but since the lack of ground on Slate really seems to be confusing while building, I used Demian's Slate Fields map. Dependencies include Anybody's prop pack, the AutoRoad addon, and all the JVS Doors packs.

Here's some pictures. I didn't feel like taking high-def ones because there's 26 pictures here and the time it takes to produce an HD picture is unbearable.

There's two concourses. They both are in the same room, but are on different sides.

The LOL Cafe. It's the only restaurant in the airport, I didn't feel like adding more. It's near the departure lounge exit in the A concourse.

Gate A3 is one of the few gates with a jetway.

The jetways are crudely made, but that's the best I could do. They have gate signs like real ones, though.

This is on the far right side (from the road) of the airport, behind the terminal. This is where a luggage truck could park (could anyone make one here on Blockland? :P), and this is where the baggage comes out when it is collected and put on to conveyors at the ticket counter. So, if you crawled through this, you'd end up behind the ticket counter.

This is another luggage truck parking spot on the far left side (from the road) behind the terminal. Baggage collected from arriving aircraft is thrown into the collector behind the sign, and the other end of the collector ends up in the baggage carousels.

This is the far left end (from the road) of the airport, which is obviously the north end since this is where runway 18 left and runway 18 right are.

Yeah, I thought the same thing, but out of most of the airports I've seen, they usually stick with one colour.

Eh, the interior is decent. Exterior could use some work. Exterior wall is a bit spammy and could use some more colors and windows.

But all around its pretty good for being built the week you got Blockland.

Oh yeah, I forgot. You need the AutoRoad addon, because they aren't normal baseplates.
