Just answering a few questions:
- Once you buy a key, it's yours forever. You will never have to buy another key again.
- You do not have to buy a new key when an update is out.
- Key sharing is highly prohibited, Badspot can track where the key is being used from and if you are sharing it, he'll ban your key from use and you will have to buy a new one (This is the only way you will lose your key unless you give it out, and the person(s) whom you told your key to will share it.
