My Speakers Are Magic

I just got several text messages on my phone from my wife, my phones is right here next to me.
Interestingly enough, my external speakers begin to make a buzzing noise EACH TIME, right before and a second or so after my phone makes the text message noise.

So, is it me, or are my speakers responding to the signals of the text message?

They probably are. I have computer speakers that hiss pretty loudly before someone near them gets a text :o

Yeah, all speakers generally do that if there's a phone nearby. That's how I tell if I'm getting an incoming text/call, but sometimes it does it randomly to check with the carrier.

It's just the radio waves interfering with the speakers, they aren't magic. I'm sorry :(
