Author Topic: First Build Gallery!  (Read 5355 times)

If I were to edit it, the only thing I would do is add current events and doors, because the build was made in v8, using Space Guy's events and JVS doors that weren't bricks. At the moment though, it has not been edited in any way since I first built it.

it may not be my first build, but it was my very first save for sure.

my first was rainbow city (spam city as i like to call it now),
a camp,
and, i don't remember the rest

My first was some building hanging off of the kitchen lights.
It was a box with windows and four strobe lights, aka a dance club.

Crap my first one was a giant city I built myself. Never finished.

my first build was a jeep sumo arena in the room inside the bed

Ha, my first build was, just, horrible. I had placed a few baseplates, in the Kitchen. With most of it floating above the ground. It had some support beams connecting it to the Kitchen sidetops. I build large walls on the permiter of the square, out of 1x4x5's, stacked three high. It then had a roof made of baseplates. On the inside it had little fortifications. Each with their own defenses. The plan was for it to be a nice DM room. I even put in some events. Like, the front protecting glass would disappear once the participant was ready to begin. I then built stairs out of 1x2x4's leading to the floor. I proceded to add weapons on these stairs, in a series, so that once you got up to the DM area, you had the provisions to fight. The weapons simply were 'Gun Akimbo', 'Bow' and 'Spear'. That was my first proper build.

I later added that horrible site to my second proper build. A City in the Kitchen. The City itself started off horribly, but the last parts weren't too bad. It started off with a rather Spammy Swimming pool on the Kitchen Rug. It also had its own car park, which had 'Jeeps', 'Magic Carpets' and a 'Tank' parked in it. Which then connected onto a Road, which travelled around the Kitchen Carpet, and then down to the Kitchen Table, and inbetween the Table Legs.

The second part to the city, was a rather poorly constructed set of Offices in the large Brown Kitchen Cabinet thing. it was ugly, but I had a rather nice Computer desk set out in it, and that was about it. It also had some ugly green bulbous 4x4x1 bricks used as stairs to the floor again.

Third I build a Police station upon the Kitchen sink. That was rather nice. I had just gotten into downloading Items from the Forums, so I had JVS Doors for the Cells, and I had some other vehicles in the Swimming Pool Car Park. (Such as a Van and Horse Carriage) The main room for the police was upstairs, where I simply made a new computer desk. There were then stairs that led downstairs into the actual Sink, where I made Jail Cells. Each with beds, toilet and sink. That was probably where I first started to get a little bit of a nact for building. That build wasn't so spammy, and it had design to it.

I then added the best part of the City. A park, upon the Cooker. It had it's own pond, with ducks, rocks, trees, custom made trees, fences, benches, and what would have been nice if it worked, a Laser light show. I tried making events for it, but I've never been one for complicated events, or even basic ones.
(I only recenlty learned how to make an 'On/Off' light switch, and I still have to go back and have a look at the Demo House time to time, for help)
The Park was supposed to have events letting little rocks and a couple of flowers, fire lasers upwards, then turn off, but in a sequence, so to make a 'Laser light show' It was supposed to end with a bang, by having the Projectile from the 'Ion Cannon' fire upwards and hit the ceiling. As a form of firework. Unfortuantely, my creativity surpassed my knowledge, and I couldn't make it work. So, I finished with the Park, my one truely good piece of work in my city.

I stopped work on the city for some time, after losing inspiration, and getting interested in other games (Namely Lego Star Wars, if I remember correctly) but I eventually got back to it, and created the final items. Some ugly mily bottle shaped stairs, leading up to the Kitchen Side. A reasonably nice, if spammy, house opposite the stairs. It had a fireplace, a bathroom, bed, table and a Garage. With some events to let the Garage doors (From the JVSDoors pack) open all at once, with once click upon any of the doors. That as spammy, especially the roof. I further decided to make a small Hangar with runway, upon the Hanging desk things, above the Kitchen Roll. That was rather rubbish, but it had the 'MiniJet' and 'FierJet' plane thingy, in it.

Well, that was my first proper build.
However my first build itself was two bases in the Kitchen hanging on the walls, from which two teams were supposed to shoot at each other from. Red and Green bases. Green base was high off the ground, and had a Jeep. So, you couldn't go anywhere with it. Red base was similar, except it had a Horse :P

(Wow, bloody long post)

My thing that I named horse stable.

EPIC WINZ!!1!!1!/1?!/1!

My firs build was a black tower. It had about 4 floors. Stairs up led up from room to room. When someone got to the roof, the would see a staircase leading up to two towers with defenses. It was OK. Then, there was a (this was on the slopes, see) white tower coming up from out of the mountain about halfway down. By the lake was a small hut with weapons inside. Nearby, a platform suspended by 4 columns of 2by2s. A small oven (dunno) on top. Another platform with the same respects was put on top.

He could've; I cannot prove you wrong. Nor can I prove myself right. But from knowing Randomguy and his current capabilities; it seems improbable for him to have build that later. Also, it's not worth editing that.

Ok, bit late for a quote but oh well, 11 days I been away in Scotland.
I do not believe 1 bit that that is a FIRST build! Yes, he is pretty good at building but first build? no, unless he somehow practised making each bit seperately on 4x4 bases lol!
I would edit it if I had the save. It is a pretty nice house, despite the seemingly random bricks on the walls

I said in my earlier posts in this thread that I can't prove it's my first build, but I've come to realize that I can. I bought Blockland in March of 2008, because a friend showed it to me. We would host private servers and build stuff together. My friend saw me build that house and he could confirm that it is my first build.
