...Was loving awesome. I went with my Cousin and his friends. $25 lawn seats.

Charm City Devils opened up for Theory of a Deadman (I forgetin' hate my life was a pretty good song) and Drowning Pool (Who ended their set with the opening/ending riffs to Metallica's "Creeping Death"), then Godsmack came on with an amazing instrumental (Two drummers oh god wtf) where they played the opening to Back in Black, then let the crowd sing War Pigs. FYI I don't like Theory, Drowning Pool, or Godsmack. I came for the Crüe, but was pleasantly surprised by Charm City Devils. Motley Crue came on with an AWESOME intro to "Dr. Feelgood". Unbelievable awesome. They played that whole album, then did Home Sweet Home, Saints of Los Angeles, and finally GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS. My voice was totally gone by the time we left. Probably died during Kick start My Heart. Impossible to refrain from screaming WHOA, YEEEAAAH.

Fun-facts: Everyone around us was smoking the same doobie (pass it bro), so we were probably high from secondhand alone, and the two guys in front of us were totally stufffaced. One turned around, handed me a cup and yelled SIP IF YOU LOVE THE CRUE! I proceeded to sip some beer, wince, nod, hand the cup back, then scrub my mouth. You can not deny the peace-booze of rock. A mosh pit formed approx. 10 feet to my right. Quaid (It's a name, I know) joined the party and got head-on-head action with some other dude, but it was all good (Some other guy was straight-up bleeding from his head). Cups of beer were being thrown. I got hit with an empty cup. Quaid was getting hit on most of the show. This horrifically ugly chick was standing 3 people down from me, we had to keep moving to keep away from her (blaaaaaughh). There were some really fine ladies there, though.
