Author Topic: Connecting to local host - I've tried everything I can think of.  (Read 314 times)

I've just recently gotten the bug where when I try to play Single Player, I get stuck on the "Connecting to local host" screen. After seeing nothing wrong in the console, I decided to use default add-ons only. It happened again. I deleted some add-ons I don't use, and some that I just got recently. Same thing. In a final attempt to fix the issue, I reinstalled Blockland and tried again. I still got stuck at that screen. I haven't adjusted my anti-virus/firewall programs lately, and I even double-checked to make sure it didn't do anything automatically. They didn't.

I can host an internet server with a player limit of 1, so it's not too urgent, but I'd still like to find the problem. Please help if you can.

You could just host a lan server i cant host internet at all.

Maybe you should just wait a bit?

I think he would know.
Besides, what is the issue with 1 player Internet games?
I do it all the time.

No need to stuff his inbox, he does read the help forums.

I don't know why, but this worked. I can suddenly play Single Player again.

Problem solved, locking.
