A side to the use it is intended for. It is a modeling program. It is made with the intent that the user uses this to design stuff for a simulation, game, or for 3d design. What a computer essential is, is something that can easily gain new control or make the computer more appealing to you. a dock such as rocket dock would fit this because it give you the ability to organize your computer to a further extent then with the standard folder & Taskbar system. Blender does nothing to help ease the use. The ONLY way it can is though fancy 3d background making. That is not even easy to do to make it look good.
