its pretty simple. all you have to do is go to photobucket/imageshack.com (photobucket recomended) and sign up.
then upload a pic
copy the direct link below the pic
click the (image) button
and then post the link inbetween the 2 (img)s
and your done.

How to post pictures
Posting pictures via a hosting website is often preferred to the forum uploader, because there is no picture limit (except the 20,000 character limit per post, of course!) or size limit. Here are some simple steps on how to do so:

1. Go to photobucket.com. It's my favorite of the image hosts, but you can also use imageshack or tinypic. The instructions are essentially the same. I'll be doing a photobucket tutorial.
2. Sign up for a free account and sign in.
3. Click the "Upload images and videos" button.
4. Choose which pictures you want to post. You can select multiple pictures by holding Ctrl while clicking.
5. Enter names and tags for pictures if you like, or just continue to the next page.
6. Hover your mouse over a picture.
7. On the box that appears, go down to "IMG code" and select the text. Copy it.
8. Paste the text where you would like your picture. Example: [IMG]http://i431.photobucket.com/albums/qq33/Regulith/Forum%20photos/Yes.png[/IMG] When finished with your post, click Preview to make sure your picture works. So, the example becomes .
