How exactly do I need to create a tank turret to work were it has the base then the barrel of the turret that moves according to my view? (If you know what I mean.)

It actually has little if not nothing to do with scripting. If you don't actually know yourself, maybe you should refrain from posting.

You need to create a model where the turret's elevation animation is named "look" and the engine will then calculate where the turret should point depending on where you look. If you go to garagegames.com and search for "player look animation" you'll find lots of details on it.


I'm currently having a problem with the turret myself on the Tiger Tank, the turret look animation some how flips to the other side of the tank for no reason.
