Author Topic: Making Bricks  (Read 727 times)

I made a model in Milkshape and know how to export and create a collision mesh w/e, but I looked through a brick add on folder and saw .blb files. Could someone explain to me what .blb files are?

Are you attempting to make a cubic brick?

Or a special one, like a ramp.

cubic brick ex. = 2x2 brick.
special brick ex. = 2x2 round brick.

I'm actually making a grill plate, but I am asking how would you make a .blb file.

Just make it as a .txt, .rtf, or any kind of TEXT file then change the things at last to .blb then package it with a server.cs and description.txt

Like when you "save as" you type .blb at the end? I tried that. Also do you put in the .dts model and collision mesh as well? I am asking this because I saw files with only .blbs and descriptions and pictures.

I believe if you don't want a custom collision, you don't need a .dts model.

with a grill plate, I would believe you wouldn't, considering the blockhead isn't going to fit through those holes.

What if you resize them?
And you cant just add .dts cause you got to make the model?
But for bricks you add .blb on save as.

True but you have to see the grill plate somehow.
