Whenever I got into the local area connection properties, into the IPV4, and change the top 3 lines to what they are supposed to be as shown in the tutorial on blockland.us, my internet gets disconnected. Any ideas?

you are not suppose to type exactly what it says on the tutorial. You have to find your own IP adresses

You're typing in the wrong numbers.

For the top box, I put 192.168.1.45, what it says to put in.
For the middle one, I put in 255.255.255.0, like it says
For the bottom, I put in 192.168.0.1, my default gateway.

Use the numbers given in the command prompt step for the first 3 areas; IP (v4) Address, Subnet mask, and default gateway.
