Author Topic: How do you use Map2Dif?  (Read 1283 times)

I am aware of an existing topic that discusses this. I read all posts, followed given instructions, and it did not work for me.

I am trying to convert a .map to .dif (Obviously). I clicked and dragged the .map to Map2Dif.exe, it opened for a brief second, then closed. There was no new existing data. Was there something I did wrong?

Map2dif compiles a .map in a split second, if the textures are in the folder with the .map and Map2dif then the .dif file should subtly pop up at the end of the folder.

I assumed that too, but that's not what's happening. I moved it over to the folder it was in, then moved it on top of the Map2Dif.exe file, it executed quickly like it normally does, but nothing happened.

Is there any way I can prevent it from closing so that I can see what it is thinking about?
