I was attempting to sell my Wii which I own 100% of no one has gifted me any items or have they just plain bought one for themselves. My parents declared that they would not like me selling the Wii. I have to wonder what kind of bullstuff is this?

What are you, 10?!  Your parents are probably thinking ahead, when there's a new game out for it that you want, you'll regret selling it.  I keep every game and console I have.  Once I sold some games, and I regret it.

I'm 15 actually and I used my Wii very little I will not regret it I am satisfied with my Xbox 360 so I am pretty sure I am good.

Not everyone is like you. Perhaps he doesn't enjoy playing it anymore, what would be the point in keeping a game console no one plays instead of selling it so someone else can enjoy it while he gets some money out of it? The parent's wouldn't be looking out for him regretting selling a gaming console anyway, all parents are like "hurr when i was your age we didn't have no new fangled technologicies"
