My brother's hand-me-down Razer headset broke today. It fell on the carpet and somehow it the impact was hard enough to knock the left speaker off. Fortunately I found out which wire goes to which, so I'll just solder them on one day and clip it back on.

I'd say the length between my floor and my desk edge is maybe 3'9". My sense of perception is awful so idk.

If I were you:
Sennheiser HD280 Pro closed-back headphones+microphone (probably a webcam mic because those can pick up sound through the entire room--plus--you can be all like "hay guys brb I have to go do something real quick")

But that's just me.
