Author Topic: Help with making a ball?  (Read 1479 times)

So I've spent the past 2 days on blender tutorials, I've been trying to make a soccerball as my 1st add-on before I really start on making any intricate designs and waste my time if this ends up not working...
So here's what I need:

-How to turn a ball figure into a vehicle on Blender

-How to script that figure

And I need this in the updated version of blender-Version 2.49b

I appreciate the help.

i believe this goes in modification help

We already have a ball and besides, a soccer ball consists of tessellating triangles and octagons (or hexagons).

Once you get the ball done, just copy the default ball's script.

Idk hao2blend.

That's the harder stuff. I don't know the simplier things. I can add meshes and what-not, but the interface is still new to me. I can build easy, but I can't get far from primitive shapes.

Its simple. Use milkshape.

If he has a mac he can't. (I think)

Army I've already  been given that link, it's VERY out of date, I need a new version of how to set colliding then I will have it finished.

It's not that I want to spread around crappy simple add-ons, I just need to do this to figure out how this system works.

ages ago i thought of making a football/soccer ball(depending on were you live)

Ok so thanks to several friends I've finished setting collision, now the last thing I need to know is where to save the DTS exporter to.
