Author Topic: Rotation Problems  (Read 524 times)

In the ME, there is a rotation option. I know that. It looks like [1 0 0 0]

For some reason only the last parameter works when I change it. Everything else does nothing.

Can anyone explain to me what the first three parameters are, and why I may be doing it wrong?

I found this hard too. What I do is, in the misstion editor, grab the top (Z) spikey thing. (This is what you use to move it down and up.) Hold Ctrl, grab it and rotate. I believe this is it.

Custom rotation? That sounds super easy. I'll try that out. Thanks.

I figured it out. It was similiar in the way you told me, but I assumed it would work for all directions.

Here what it means (For future reference):

There are four terms. (1 0 0 0)

Consider the first three in a group, and the last one a measurement.

So: 1 0 0 corresponds to X Y Z. 1 means Yes, 0 Means No.

If it is 1 0 0 90, it will rotate the object 90 degrees on the X-Axis.
If it is 0 1 0 90, it will rotate the object 90 degrees on the Y-Axis.
0 0 1 90 is for the Z-Axis.

Thanks. :)
