Because it appears that exporting maps made in Valve Hammer to TC, trough Blender, doesn't work as intended, I must use TC. Because I'm new to TC, logically I have questions to ask. I will edit this post when I have more questions.

Is there a way to unify the grid size? Currently it changes depending on the zoom level. It's horrible, I want one grid size that will stay that size regardless of the zoom, but it should be changeable of course. Like in Hammer

Nope. I don't have a problem with it thought.

I've seen/used many other modelling programs, and they do it too.

At least TC gives you a scale to work with.

I make my own textures. The defaults aren't that great.

Yeah but mine get blurred [even my own textures], and to top it off it only happens half of the time =C

This is probably because you scaled it. If you want to increase the brush size, but not the texture, scale it manually in vertex mode.

But then why does it only occur half of the time?

Not sure. It probably depends on how much you scale it, or how you are scaling it.
