Ff. Why do source games lag on my laptop

Computer specs? Manufacturer? PROCESSOR?
If I know about the computer a bit, I might be able to help. \
If it's just background processes, go into the control panel and clean the default process tray of things you don't need. If it's something else, check power settings, and if all else fails, try Game Booster.

Huh. I have Skippy and jumpy TF2.
Im running on a advent laptop.So I cannot play It at all. So in the end I just asked mom if I could get a XBox360. So I can then play L4D2 and Tf2 and all other VALVE GAME
