Scope crosshair change

would it be possible to have a server script that upon hitting f (or whatever you have set to zoom)
your crosshair changes to a field of view restricting sniper scope like we see in first person shooters everyday?
If so, I just thought that would be pretty neat.

I think it's possible if you bind a script to the f key that outs the sniper image on the screen and zooms. This would replace the default zoom.

Custom crosshairs are restricted to a certain size, so I dont think you could do it that way.

You'd need a client-side mod to change the crosshair anyway so you could make it resize the crosshair GUI part to fill the screen.
