I never watched the movie, what ever happened to Districts 1-8?
There were no other districts as they probably just chose a random number, and then they moved them to district 10.
District 10, obviously. You didn't see the part at the end where it said something like "District 10 has been created and now houses (number here) Prawn"?
I think it was about 2-10 million.
Story: They see an alien mothership over a city. They flew up to it and there were aliens inside, wandering aimlessly. So then they took the aliens inside district 9.
They didn't follow orders until about 2-5 years or so later. Then, Nigerians came in as they found out they LOVED catfood, and it became a kind of currency. The Nigerians scammed them of alien weapons, but were unable to use them. There was a reporter, or a scientist or someone who was trying to find out everything about them, but then he was attacked by an alien, and over time grew an alien arm. He was experimented on with alien weapons and found out he was able to use them. They tried to cut it off. Or, he did. He cut off his alien finger. He then was captured by the leader of the Nigerian friends. He wanted to eat his arm because the friends thought alien body parts were able to give off alien DNA, which was the only reason only the aliens could use it. From here on out aliens will be known as Prawns. The prawns were only there because of the military. The man soon knew what he was doing with the arm. He killed military to protect his Prawn friend, who had a way to fix him. He had to get the fluid which made him an Prawn-human thing. But the friend got him again, and then tried to kill him. The mech in the room killed every friend in the room and then opened for the man. The Prawn who had the fluid had to run to the house after being saved by the man.
The mech was broken down. The man was near death. There was one soldier left. But then lots of Prawns came to the rescue. The man was saved, and in the end, he was a Prawn.
