Mount it to a joint, make a 1 frame animation. And when exporting follow these steps:
1. Click 'Add' next to 'Sequences'
2. Name the sequence 'root' make first frame 1 last frame 2.\
3. Click OK
4. Now before you click export un-check; use cfg file, output dump file, export animations.
5. Click 'Export DTS'
5.5 Name it
Now to export the animation, when you export it has that sequence you made already there.
6. Now open up the DTS exporter again.
7. Un-check everything, except 'export animations' and 'split DSQ export'.
8. Click 'Export DSQ'.
9. Name it whatever you want, when you export it, it will make DSQ files for your animations. <Name>_<Animation> In this case there's only one animation so it w be <name>_Root. *Just put in the name, if you put 'Scas' then the DSQ will come out 'Scas_root'.
10. In the script where it tells you to put the animations, replace all the animations with the name of the DSQ file just made.
Hope this clears things up.
*If you use Blender, then I typed this up for nothing.
