Author Topic: Gigantic Mandelbrot Fractal  (Read 485 times)

These are too cool. I was screwing around in Paint.NET and I found the Mandelbrot fractals, and I just had to make one as big as I possibly could.

So I rendered one at 10,000x10,000 at full quality.
It took my crummy laptop almost 40 minutes to render it out. The file is loving 84 megabytes.

Yes I am fully aware that these are nothing new and everyone on the forums are aware of this feature in Paint.NET, but I just got into it and I thought it was cool.

And I am also fully aware that this is in the wrong section, but I don't consider this creativity on my part, since I didn't actually do anything.
Anyways here is the rendered image at 10,000x10,000 if you want it. I thought it was pretty cool at least. -_-

I personally like the Julia Fractal, but that's just me.
