I have that problem because my floppy disk drive doesn't work and somehow gets mixed with the USB slots. Now always when I try to plug in something I get the blue screen.

Yeah. Generally BSoD's are hardware/driver related.

FIXED. i just had to restore factory default D:    i lost all my blockland files too!

I was going to suggest that NOT using an Xbox 360 Controller would fix your issue, but okay.
