Scary Computer Noises

Well, i was sitting here browsing and junk, and all of a sudden my computer tower makes the WEIRD sound, like a saw cutting glass, and it plays for a minute, then it does some beeps, plays a little more, more beeps, then a loud sound that hurt my ears, then it stopped, im scared, were the aliens talking to me?!?!

I believe your computer forgeted over, or your computer thinks you're playing sounds you don't even have.  Happened to me with rap songs and movie quotes.
