Author Topic: How do I change the Skybox?  (Read 2624 times)

You can either edit the .mis file and change it do a different .dml file which list the pictures that make up the box or you can do it in the mission editor, I'm thinking through the mission inspector I'm not sure though it's been a while since I've messed with it. Just remember if you use a sky box from a different map and plan to release it you'll need to put it in with the rest of your mission files when you package it.

Sky boxes are a pain to make sometimes. It's best just to look at an existing one, and just change the pictures.

Most maps have 5 pics in their map folder for a skybox, and you can apply different pictures to different parts of the skybox... I don't know how though, I haven't messed around with the mission editor too much.

It's a pain to mess with not because of saving it right, but because it all has to match up.
