Author Topic: Hats  (Read 694 times)

Don't know if this is the right section . . .

But, how do I get hats to work?

(Calling me an idiot does NOT solve my problem!)

I'm having the same problem... :(

Hatmod or your own hats?

Hatmod or your own hats?

Both.

I need to a get script that works, like the Hatmod, then I'll make my own script.

So far I can't get it to work, but I think I've found the problem. Apparently if I export a dts from Vista, it doesn't work, but if I do it from XP, it works just fine. I'm gonna try re-exporting it today, so you might get an anwser from me.

Hatmod?

I just downloaded some hats and stuck them in my add-ons folder...

One of them was named: Simplewell_*something or other*Hat, if that makes any difference . . .

What.

I don't really know. Aparently my crappy laptop (XP) can import and export everthing just fine, but my desktop (Vista) can only import .3ds and .ms3d, and can't export anything right. Go figure.

I exported my helmet from my Vista Desktop, so I was thinking if I exported it from my XP Laptop, it might work. Idk, it worked for my vehicles.

I think if you desperately want a hat, you should make it as a weapon with a mountPoint and a muzzlePoint (taking hat off and casuing no damage animation).
Or, somehow do it as a vehicle

OR
Find a proper script because my ideas suddenly seem awful (they are)

It's an script that gives out random hats every 25 minutes, And then you can wear them.
