Author Topic: McCafe--Wtf?  (Read 871 times)

I was driving to my Aunt's from my dad's funeral, and I saw a "McCafe"
It had the McDonald's M on it and the same color, but it had different stuff on its drive-through list/board/menu. I think this could be a new chain of McDonald's, but I think it's just like every other fast food resteraunt--the same thing with a different name. (McDonald's/Burgerking, Dunkin Donuts/McCafe, etc)

McDonalds equivalent to Starbucks.

Wtf, they're making it its own chain?

I agree with that. I didn't actually go inside. The funny thing is, it was formerly a McDonald's, as my Aunt told me, but they literally completely tore the building down and rebuilt it as a McCafe. What a waste of materials.

EDIT: They are inside the McDonald's, as like a cafe part while the other part is fast food.

It's its own chain, technically. Some McDonald's  have them,  but some don't, it's like, an addition to the building, but inside, apparently.

It was in New Zealand first I guess, I'm talking about America.

Yeah. It's NZ though, everything costs twice as much, and usually we get everything super slow.

Well, apparently it was in Australia first and I haven't seen one of these yet. Especially because I live 5 minutes away from a McDonald's, and I normally go there at least once every two weeks. I also just moved and have been driving around all over and this is the first one I saw, here, in New Jersey.

It's in the Smithsonian Air and Space museum, separate from McDonalds. It's basically just a starbucks wannabe version.

They make a nice cheesecake and brownie over here.
