 These are so much fun. My favorites are actually with close range weapons like swords and spears, I enjoy ancient warfare more than modern.

My dad was in a civil war reenactment about 15 - 20 years ago

I looked around my area and found a WW1 reenactment group and I'm currently looking for a Vietnam war reenactment group, those would be fun.

Nah don't mean to be a richard but back then it was really primitive and they used the 'Hueys' if you got Command and Conquer: Generals: Zero hour there's a great vietnam mod. But like my dad was in 'Nam and he has a lot of his left over gear that would be really better to use rather then going out and spending hundreds to do that WW1 reenactment I was talking about.

 WW1 is sit in a trench. Wait your turn, hear the whistle blow, climb out, charge, then die. Same for the enemy.
