Not to compare being gay to mental handicapation, but mental illnesses aren't genetic, they are just how the brain forms. Most likely similar to how people have different personalities. Just because both your parents are happy easygoing people, doesn't mean you have to be too; just as if both your parents are straight, you don't have to be too.
At least you're trying to be mature about it.
So, technically, you'd say homoloveuality is more on a level of a "Birth/Growth-Defect"?
I'm less curious on the reason why people are homoloveual or biloveual, but more curious on the reasoning that there is absolutely no choice about it.
Although, in a comparison to mental handicapation (Not that it's like it, in the main sense) I can see that you can't have a mental handicap and just decided to choose not to. I understand that it doesn't work like that with such things as mental handicaps, but I don't see where homoloveuality ties in with the same concept behind it.
And, just to get it out there, if I continue posting in this topic, I really don't mean to offend absolutely anyone with what I say. So, if I do per chance say something that sounds a bit prejudice or rude, just tell me.
Also, by me saying
"you'd say homoloveuality is more on a level of a "Birth/Growth-Defect"? I don't mean that it's a bad thing in the same sense that you'd consider a Birth/Growth-Defect to be.
Damn. It's difficult to approach this topic and not seem rude. S:
Also, I just noticed Rughuggers reply to the topic as well, so I'll take that into account for the reasoning behind homoloveuality. Gonna go Google stuff now.
