Item Transparency.

The item I'm making is transparent in the model, but in game the colors are solid. How should i go about fixing this?

Is it the way I exported it? Or Maybe in its CS file?

Assign it to blank and colorshift it

I don't think the DTS format supports transparent materials. With items you can just colourshift it as mentioned. It's a bit more technical for vehicles and props.

I have an option on my blender exporter to export a texture as transparent. It is possible.

Assign a transparent or semi transparent texture to the faces wanted. And export the texture as transparent. I have not tested this, but I believe I can do it.

Still, collorshifting is the best way. And i find it the easiest way.

I will now upload my riot shield for reference on this matter.

The material it's self.
The .png file or the .jpg file.
Remains a solid color.

But doesnt that let you see through bricks through the transparent glass?
