Several reasons.
-If you've been banned, you can use an alt to get back to posting.
-If you're suffering through bad rep, you can use an alt to
temporarily catch a break. Which gets annoying because they tend to act the same within a few minutes.
-If you want a different name, just PM Badspot.
What If I get banned because a brother or sister was messing around huh!?

Don't leave your account logged in. It's still your responsibility. And besides, you can't prove it.
