Clients cannot send data directly to eachother. Everything is Client <-> Server.
So that means other people cannot see it unless the host gives it to them.

I did say that's the only way it's possible.
Edit: But honestly, I would prefer to be without them.

For anything super complex like
* buildable vehicles that you can ride, blow up, and walk around
* Day to night system
* Mirrors
* Lights not going through bricks
* Top down radar
* Boats
* Flying AI
* Combined driving/shooting tanks like in battlefield 2 in badspot would probably have to switch game engines. Torque's collision is really sucky, which is why we cannot get a good train mod or walk on vehicles. The problem with switching over is that already he has edited this engine a ton and there are tons of modders for this game. Switching over to source or Unreal would have to be a side job, where badspot still works on this version while slowly working on a beta form of that version. Then everyone would probably need to re buy the game, all the modelers, scripters, and mappers would need to re learn everything. It would be really cool if we could have the ION Argos fly around and land somewhere on the slopes but that probably isn't going to happen unless Garagegames (The people who made torque) make a magical update that takes all TGE stuff and converts it to a new torque mega deluxe.
