but this one time, i was on roblox and this guy said he played roblox with his son.
i got into a "scuffle about parents playing games" and eventually i just starting joking around and he ragequited.

Also, I remember playing toontown in the early 2000s
I remember you had to pay for a subscription. You could only either stay in one area or there was another version on a slightly different website, where you played the full game for 48 hours. Is it the same?

you can create like 2 characters, but you have a limited selection of clothes.
and pets, and fishing bait and types of characters.
they thought they were to lenient on the free version

They changed the way free accounts work. You used to be able to do Cog HQ things, but you couldnt go into other towns. They switched them around.

Last time I played Toontown, it had SpeedChat, and you had to give your friends a special code in real life, the internet, etc. to talk to them using normal chat. Did they change that?
