And I had a friend I was showing the ending scene too, and he's a brainwashed super-patriotic. so when I killed the shadow guards he's all "HOLY stuff MAN WHAT THE HELL YOUR KILLING AMERICANS!" And then when I explained the situation to him he goes and says "Oh so they are not real Americans" and I keep telling them they are general shepherd's personal army, and how he killed ghost and roach and he's still saying "Oh so they are traitors" and I reply "They don't know that." So then he goes and pulls the "Oh so they are not real Americans" thing out of his ass again and I think I finally had it explained to him but then we find a RPG in the cave and he says "What the hell they are using RPGs they are not real Americans!" So I just gave up. |

Just doesn't make sense. --- End quote --- I don't think you understand how powerful guns are. In Vietnam, the Vietcong shot down helicopters with AK-47's. Those rifle rounds turned the originally bulletproof windshield into swiss cheese. Plus, if you shoot the rotor of a helicopter, the entire thing will crash. The rotors are essentially the weak points of all helicopters. The only helicopters meant to stand up to gunfire are gunships, but you were fighting scout aircraft with little to no armor plating.
