I loved Growlithe/Arcanine when I was a kid :D
I was a kid who would only have like 2 different types. Used Typhlosion, Arcanine, Entei, Raikou and Amhparos. Those are the ones I remember. As for fly, maybe pidgeot or Lugia. (Crystal version best version ever made)
