Windows Movie Maker.
It crashed earlier then restarted, but made all the files I put in it blank/corrupt.
So instead of jamming a stuffload of 1GB videos into such an unreliable video editor, I'm going to limit 4 per project.
I usually pause the recording at the ingame menu to look at a few things (steam chats, forums, etc.). I then resume when I'm done.
Also, change of plans. I will instead be recording myself playing the Homeworld 2 Campaign.
I haven't made it past level 3 yet because I'm lazy.

I bought a 100G external drive for screen recording
I never use it though :(

It's not WMM.
It's Fraps. It's not recording the screenplay at all.
Anyone know of any good screen recorders?

Quicktime comes with screen recording built in but idk how high the quality is
