The Scattergun takes a while to reload the first shot but multiple shells load faster. Best use is to fire half to a full clip out at an enemy if in combat and reload later.

The Pistol and Akimbo Pistols gain increased range and accuracy if you're standing still. Handy for hitting some distant targets.

The Sub-Machine Gun is more useful for firing in a burst to kill one or two targets while the Silenced SMG is better for reliability or suppressive fire on a crowd with knockback.

The Assault Rifle only fires the increased damage shot if you are standing still.

The Crossbow penetrates multiple players or zombies in a line on kills but not bricks.

Thanks, added them in ^_^

Anything with my idea you still up for?

You should make a comparison part, comparing thing like the Pistol vs. Akimbo vs. Revolver, Sport vs. Military, SMG vs. Silenced SMG vs. LMG, Combat Shotgun vs. Pump Shotgun vs. Scattergun, Assault Rifle vs. Battle Rifle vs. Bullpup, etc.

I still think the battle rifle could double as a sniper in the right conditions.

It does :D
I was in a trench TDM, I saw someone (I think the host) sniping from a dirt tower. I pulled out my... OH I thought you meant the bullpup.

Also, I think you mean assault rifle. The battle rifle is the mix between the Assault and SMG

That would be a nice addition.
Perhaps also add a couple statistics such as bullet damage, ammo count, and reload times?

I'm making one for GCats at the moment. If pain doesn't make one for TT I will.

You know how it bothers you when people use the weapons wrong? it bothers me when you use the term "Clip" when you mean "Magazine" Sorry but that just bugs me... anyway, it is a very wonderful guide and probably does help a lot.

'clip' and 'magazine' mean the same thing, genius.

I'm probally going to make one, but i'd be nice to know how you do them.

I spawned a normal bot, set it to standard player datablock, make a line 20 studs away, 50 studs away, and 100 studs away, and measure to see how long it took to kill the bot from each distance. Then I would have a brick that would fire a famas shot from the marked lines in order to test bullet drop and bullet power. I would compare these to the scores of the Scar doing the same exact test.

Was thinking of doing something like that ^_^

I ended up having the bot run around and me shooting at it with the famas to test usability after the main testes were done

Guide to Tier Tactical: Run in and kill everyone. Most of the DM players suck anyways.
