How to kill in a minigame?

Whenever my brother and I play a game, we start a minigame. We set it to deathmatch, and we get guns. Then we open fire. No damage occurs. Help!

Disable left 4 block and ZAPT if they are on, or just turn on left for block with friendly fire. Or just make a TDM
