I freeze but can see people talk on the server, and other lag problems

Ok, my computer is the only one that has problems with my router and games. (well the only other one is a mac) So i think it is either my computer's internet settings or my router's way of dealing with my computer
help?

It's a known problem, and it keeps happening to me, it happens occasionally on high brick servers.

anyways: i screwed around with my router, turned off upnp and it fixed it
